Comparing Natural Tan and Man Made Tan

Every summer, tanned skin is very common since the weather condition will surely get you tanned even if you are not sun bathing. There are several ways to get a tan. You can get it the natural way which is going under the sun or you get it by using tanning products. But when you are sunbathing, you are putting yourself at great risk since you are directly exposed to the sun's UV rays.

It won't be advisable to go under the sun if you have plans on getting a tan since it will reduce the amount of collagen in your skin and it can cause freckles. Sunbathing also causes sunburn and, in turn, you will need to use lotions to prevent your skin from getting rashes. Sunbathing won't also give you an even tan. If you don't want to have tan lines, uneven tan or getting sunburned, then use tanning products. The great thing about these products is that the results are visible in a short period of time. Depending on the case, the duration of the tan is indefinite. There are products that will last for about two weeks while some are good for only a day or two and can be washed with soap easily. Though it won't last that long, you will be better off using these products since it will guarantee to give you an even tan.

These products are less dangerous because you do not get sunburned and you are not directly exposing yourself to UV rays. Bronzing powders, airbrush tanning products, tanning lotions are just a few of the tanning products that are available in the market today. These products will give you the same result as being under the sun for a few hours. Whether you got it from sunbathing or from tanning lotions, no one can really tell.

So if you want to get a tan, consider the color of your skin first. Getting a sun glow will be ideal for those who have a darker skin tone. But if you have really light or pale skin, then you may as well get your tan from tanning products.
