Self Motivation - The Battle
Self-motivation is a constant struggle because our lives are continuously beset by pessimistic thoughts and anxiety about what is to come. Every individual have to confront uncertainties or worse, even despression symptoms. This is what sets the successful people apart. They know how to keep on struggling even in the face of doubt. Having steady motivation has no sure resolution. No one succeeds with just a single shot. You have to continue pounding. There are three factors for losing motivation. One of them is the absence of confidence. If you do not believe in what you're performing anymore, there's no sense in continuing. Another may be the absence of focus. If you don't know what you would like, there's no sense in working. Lack of direction is the last. If you do not know what to complete, then you are not compelled to do anything.
The lack of confidence is a sure cause of the death of motivation. This typically happens when you are focusing on what you want and ignoring what you already have. Your mind would start creating explanations for why you aren't getting what you want. This is where the negative thoughts come in. Failures in the past and personal faults start filling your mind. You start comparing yourself to your competitors. In such a condition, you evoke a bad impression, think the worst about others, and lose confidence in yourself. In order to get out of this pattern of thought, you have to shift your focus to gratitude.
Find some time to concentrate on the positive things in your life. Make a list of your strengths, recent benefits, and past successes. Occasionally, we don't put emphasis on our strengths and focus on failures that we've made in the past. By doing this, you'll appreciate how able and successful you have turn out to be. As a result, you will start banking on your achievements with your improved self confidence and your motivation.
Repeating to yourself things you already know can develop your way of thinking. Sometimes, the mind distorts reality to bear out what it wants to accept as true. The more you think about negative things, the more illustrations the mind will make up to verify that belief. When you truly believe that you deserve success, the mind will create ways for you to achieve it. Creating value for the rest of the world is the greatest way to have success.
