Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) 2009
Ghosties, ghoulies, and witches, Oh My! But don't worry; this is the kind of haunted event that induces giggles instead of screams.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is an explosion of Halloween fun in the Magic Kingdom. Running on select evenings in September, October, and November 2009, the Party transforms the Magic Kingdom into a haunted wonderland. Jack-o-lanterns glow in the windows and on the streetlights, witches and ghosts fly around Main Street, and you r favorite Disney characters are out and about in their very own Halloween costumes!
The special events of past MNSSHPs have included:
- Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade: an incredible parade including the ballroom dancers from the Haunted Mansion, characters in costume, and even Sleepy Hollow's Headless Horseman.
- Happy HalloWishes Fireworks show: a spectacular show highlighting songs made famous by Disney's Villains. Stay to the end to see the amazing 360 degree finale!
- Halloween Dance Parties: dance to your heart's content with your favorite characters at dance parties throughout the park!
- Trick or Treating: everyone receives a Trick or Treat bag for plenty of sugary "treasure" hunting!
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a "hard-ticket" event, meaning your regular Disney World theme park ticket for the day won't allow you entrance into the party. The Magic Kingdom will close on party evenings to everyone who does not have a special MNSSHP ticket.
